The first industrial IOT (IIOT) solution in plug & play mode

Deliver data where and when you need it

The IIoT, or Industrial Internet of Things, represents a new way of bringing data from previously inaccessible data streams into a more complete view of a business.

The Internet of Things generally refers to devices that were not historically connected to the Internet; but now are - for example; wearable devices; smart TVs and security cameras.

The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) refers more specifically to industrial devices that are now equipped with the capabilities to send data to HMI and SCADA systems or to the cloud.

These "smart" devices can include items such as connected sensors, valves, switches or field devices that connect to the network. As a result, the barriers to adoption of IIoT technology have narrowed considerably over the past decade.

Historical challenges to implementing IIoT solutions included expensive components to add network connectivity; difficulties in aggregating data from disparate data streams; and the absence of a centralized database or dashboard.

Today, SYRAM has broken all its barriers.

Thanks to a in-depth understanding of the industrial environment, based on our long-standing experience as consultants in industrial performance optimization. As a result, we have developed a turnkey solution that will take you to the intelligent factory in just a few hours, with no need for adaptation or prior study.

Lean manufacturing made easy

At SYRAM, Lean is in our DNA

We got our start in Lean consulting by introducing European and North African companies to the Japanese management principles of continuous improvement and the techniques of the Toyota production system.

So, over the years, we've learned that, while popular; methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma often fail to deliver the promised results. While over 70% of global manufacturing companies have implemented a Lean program, few are able to effectively leverage it to accelerate growth and create competitive advantage.

Yet we remained true believers in Lean and Six Sigma as well as Kaizen methodology. So we studied these methodologies in depth, and came up with a simple, unique approach that enables our partners to get straight to the point and make gains.

We then developed unique approaches to the implementation of :

  • The maintenance function
  • TPM (total productive maintenance)
  • Computer-aided maintenance management (CMMS)
